Rainwater management services
These water services are essential for the well-being of citizens and for economic activities, with a clear impact on improving public health, environmental sustainability and mitigating risks, namely arising from climate change. They generate benefits in terms of job creation, economic growth, social stability and conflict reduction, contributing to a more developed, peaceful, equitable and healthy society.
Water supply services
They ensure the supply of water intended for human consumption (domestic purposes), but also for commercial and service, industrial and similar, and even public uses, such as washing streets, watering gardens and fighting fires. They also include the public service relating to the control of the water quality of autonomous solutions in areas where the public network is not available.
Waste water management services
They are intended to manage wastewater, including drainage and treatment, resulting from human use in domestic, commercial and even industrial activity, and whose characteristics have changed compared to natural waters. It also includes the public service relating to the collection, transport and treatment of sludge from autonomous domestic wastewater treatment systems (septic tanks). It also includes the production of water for reuse.
Rainwater management services
They are intended to manage rainwater, preventing flooding resulting from precipitation flowing into the urban perimeter, that is, what is totally or partially urbanized or built, necessary for the balance of the urban system, properly articulated with the ecological structure (parks and gardens) and contributing watersheds.
