Organization
In terms of governance, LIS-Water has five governing bodies:
- General Assembly – focused on the governance of the association, consisting of all effective members in full enjoyment of their associative rights;
- Board of Directors – centered on the management of the association, consisting of a president and two members;
- Supervisory Board – focused on the financial control of the association, comprising a chairman and two members;
- Advisory Board – centered on interaction with the sector and its actors, on identifying needs and opportunities, comprising representatives of effective and associated members, sponsors and donors;
- Strategic Council – centered on evaluating the association’s strategic guidelines and activities and on linking to the best existing knowledge internationally, comprising a minimum of five and a maximum of ten national or foreign personalities of recognized merit.
The internal structure of LIS-Water, headed by its president, consists of a team dedicated to the areas of activity and support services. There is also the LIS-Water ecosystem composed of its network of partners.
