The Ministry of Environment and Climate Action (MAAC) promotes the debate on water scarcity in times of Climate Change, highlighting the relevance of the partnership between Portugal and the World Bank in strengthening international cooperation in the areas of water access and management in especially vulnerable contexts and territories, a session that will take place on October 18th, Wednesday, at 10:00 (morning hours only), in the Salão Nobre do Ministério – Rua de O Século, nº51.
This initiative stems from a collaboration between the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action and the World Bank through the GWSP – The Global Water Security and Sanitation Partnership, a World Bank program dedicated to supporting governments in their strategies to achieve the water-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely in promoting water security and the resilience of water and sanitation services.
LIS-Water will be present, contributing to the discussion with an action agenda for better water governance.
