World Water Week 2022 is organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) and runs from August 23 to September 1. For the first time, participants can take part both online and in Stockholm, Sweden. This year there will be nearly 300 sessions on the theme “Seeing the Invisible: The Value of Water”.
This conference addresses a wide range of water-related topics, from food security and health to agriculture, technology, biodiversity and the climate crisis. Each year has its own theme which is explored from many different perspectives.
There you can meet decision-makers, business leaders, city planners, activists and researchers from around the world to share new ideas, learn and collaborate on innovative solutions. World Water Week is also an important meeting point for policymakers and institutions to accelerate international processes related to water, development and climate.
The program is developed in partnership with international organizations to provide access to the latest trends in different areas. You’ll find it here:
- Sessions on a wide range of topics: these are mostly organized by SIWI, but supported by leading organizations from around the world.
