The Macao International Environmental Cooperation Forum and Exhibition (MIECF 2024), organised by the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region in collaboration with the other 9+1 provincial/regional governments of the Pearl River Delta Region, will take place at The Venetian Macao Cotai Expo from 28 to 30 March 2024. Co-ordinated by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the Macao Environmental Protection Bureau (DSPA), this event is one of China’s leading environmental technology exhibitions.
This year, MIECF 2024 aims to be a key platform for the presentation and promotion of new technologies geared towards sustainable development and achieving zero carbon emissions. Key sectors such as mobility, green finance, green industries, sustainable industrial parks, smart cities, ESG, resource management, among others, will feature prominently in the exhibition.
The 2024 edition will focus on achieving “carbon neutrality”, in line with national and local environmental initiatives. The event will cover a range of topics, such as the green transformation of the economy, ESG practices, green finance and green technology industries. Renowned experts will share knowledge on new environmental technologies and applications, providing a roadmap for sustainable development.
MIECF 2024 is set to showcase cutting-edge technologies in carbon neutrality, energy management, water management, green transport, wastewater treatment, eco-city integration and green building, promoting green business opportunities and contributing to global environmental goals.
