The 8th National Water Meeting (ENA) will take place on August 16 and 17 in São Paulo, Brazil, with the theme “Sanitation: the Agenda for the Future”. It is organized by ABCON SINDCON (National Association and Union of Private Concessionaires of Public Water and Sewerage Services), which brings together private sanitation operators in Brazil.
The opening panel includes a debate on the future of sanitation from the perspective of the elections that will take place later this year in Brazil. The event will have seven more panels. On the first day there will be the following panels: the importance of regulation for the universalization of basic sanitation services; mobilization in classes C, D and E; development in the sanitation sector and challenges in the training of technical professionals; ways of financing the expansion of sanitation. The spaces for discussion will continue the following day with a special panel on customer relations, featuring guests and experts, as well as tables on the technical challenges of the post-legal framework and compliance by sanitation companies.
