The ABES – Brazilian Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, in partnership with APRH – Portuguese Water Resources Association and APESB – Portuguese Association for Sanitation Studies, will promote from August 28th to 30th, 2024, at the Mar Hotel, in Recife/ PE, the 21st SILUBESA – Luso-Brazilian Symposium on Sanitary and Environmental Engineering.
SILUBESA takes place alternately in both countries and, over 34 years, it has established itself as one of the main events for debates and professional development between Brazilian and Portuguese specialists.
In this edition, SILUBESA’s central theme is “Water and Our Future”, through which the technical and political-institutional discussions of the Symposium will take place, providing participants with opportunities for debates and exchange of experiences.
LIS-Water through Jorge Cardoso Gonçalves will participate in Panel 1 – Water management in the context of adaptation to climate change.
