The 2023 WCC Clorosur Water Forum is an event organized by the World Chlorine Council (WCC) and the Latin American Association of the Chlor-Alkalis and Derivatives Industry (Clorosur).
The Forum will have as its central theme “Water and Sanitation in Latin America – paths to sustainability” and will address questions about the challenges and solutions to guarantee the availability and sustainable management of drinking water and sanitation for all, from the point of view of regulators, development banks, sanitation companies and technology suppliers.
The meeting will be on October 17, 2023 in Brasília. Around 200 people are expected, including members of Clorosur and WCC, members of the government and local authorities, researchers, sanitation companies, chemical industry associations, public and private entities and related NGOs. The Forum’s objective is to encourage, foster and promote debate to help expand access to water systems with adequate quality and quantity for Latin American populations.
LIS-Water was invited to present a lecture in the “Bloco Regulação” about its experience and lessons learned about public policies, regulation and management of water and sewage services.
