Project to strengthen the regulator of water and sanitation services in Honduras, called “Ente Regulador de los Servicios de Agua Potable y Saneamiento” (ERSAPS), including the identification of complementary regulatory mechanisms needed to improve the performance of the water supply and sanitation sector.

The project, entitled “ Evaluación y elaboración de hoja de ruta ( plan de fortalecimiento ) para ERSAPS”, is funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

The objective is to identify specific areas of improvement for institutional strengthening of the regulator and define a roadmap for the development and consolidation of its capacities based on the analysis of the situation of regulation of water supply and sanitation services in the country, the current capacities of the ERSAPS and international benchmarking.
